As Principal of McLean Heritage Planning and Consulting, Hugh McLean has 26 years’ experience in heritage planning at the municipal level, with an in-depth knowledge of tools to further heritage conservation and the use of zoning incentives. These include identification and evaluation of buildings and other features, legal protection and agreements, and principles of restoration and conservation. Services include the preparation of Statements of Significance, Heritage Assessments, Conservation Plans, Historical Research and Documentation, Building Condition Assessment.
